Free Comprehensive Hearing Test by Our Licensed Audiologist
A Clinical Audiologist will visually inspect the ear (otoscopy) and test your hearing using an audiometer.
If middle ear problems are suspected, tympanometry will also be completed.

The audiologist will explain the results and suggest follow-up actions, if needed.
Feel free to ask questions and take photos of the draft report.

Get an Official Report
If you would like an official report, the audiologist can prepare this for a fee (HK$ 500). The report includes:
- Patient information (name, gender, age)
- Date and location of the test
- Audiogram (air & bone thresholds)
- Tympanogram (if middle ear issues suspected)
- Summary of findings for each ear
- Overall conclusion
- Signature by licensed audiologist

Do you accept Elderly Health Care Voucher?
Yes, we accept full or partial payment by Elderly Health Care Voucher for the hearing test report.
Where is the equipment from?
The audiometer is a world-class model by a Danish brand.
Do I need the report?
If your doctor has asked you to get a hearing test report or you wish to keep a formal record of your hearing, you can choose to get the report.
You can take a photo of the draft free of charge, which is often good enough for people who just want to understand their hearing condition.
What formats and languages is the report available in?
The report can be in paper form and/or a soft copy (PDF or image format) delivered by WhatsApp / email.
You choose between English or Traditional Chinese, although the standard practice in Hong Kong is to use English language hearing test reports.
When will the report be available?
The report will be completed by the next working day.
What type of hearing test is it?
It's a professional hearing test by a licensed audiologist using world-class equipment. The test follows equivalent procedures to those used in hospitals in Hong Kong.

Is the service available at your other centres?
Not yet. Wong Chuk Hang is our largest centre with the world-class equipment for professional hearing tests. We plan to expand the service to our Jordan centre in future. Jordan currently offers hearing aids with hearing tests at a level sufficient for hearing aid fitting but not for issuing official reports.
